The Faculty of Psychology was founded with the aim of building a prosperous Riau society based on Islamic values and Malay culture. The first lecture at the Faculty of Psychology UIR commenced in August 2005 with an enrollment of 90 students.
Developing a psychology education system that integrates competencies and soft skills with the business world and public sector along with organizing science and technology and IMTAQ-based psychological education and implementing it to enhance people's quality of life.
